A Community Studio for San Antonio

After local producers having lobbied since 2006 for a new Community Studio, the City of San Antonio has announced that a new studio will be built in downtown San Antonio at the existing Plaza de Armas building. Construction to be completed in late 2013. Thanks to all who helped keep this issue in front of the San Antonio City Council and we look forward to a new community studio for all our citizens to use to produce local television shows.

Video Production Class

Need to learn how to make videos? Want to become a video producer or citizen journalist? We can teach you video production and share our knowledge. E-mail us mediaaccesstx@gmail.com to schedule a class. Fees are $25.00 an hour private rate or set up a group class at $20.00 per class per person. Classes are generally 3 hours long each, in 2 parts.

Local producers are filming current and upcoming political events in this busy Presidential election year. You never know who will show up in town for political events. If you have filmed events and or interesting speakers, send us a link so we can feature your video.

South Texas Media Access: San Antonio, Texas, United States; A non-profit organization to promote, preserve and protect public access media in Texas and across the U.S. We are made up of video producers, bloggers, podcasters, journalists, church groups, community groups, artists, performers and citizens who want to preserve public access media for our future. We teach others how to become video producers, so you can have your say in the digital age. Catch some of our producers shows on San Antonio Public Access TV, Time Warner Digital CH 20, Grande Cable Ch 19, AT&T Ch 99. Many producers also have youtube and blip.tv channels.
